Your deduction comes from an independent appraisal and your own tax situation. We never promise a figure.
Straight answers on cost
No escrow, no closing, no commission. The appraisal is yours; back taxes and cleanout are usually yours, sometimes ours.

What happens to the property I donate? +
Most donated property is sold and the net proceeds fund Giving Center programs. Some is held and used directly as program housing or office space.
Does all of the property’s value go to programs? +
No, and no charity should say so. The cost of transferring, holding and selling the property comes first. What remains funds our charitable work.
Do you advertise? +
We do not use your contribution for paid media. Most donors reach us through referrals, advisors and search.
Can I choose which program my gift supports? +
Tell us what matters to you. Gifts support Giving Center’s programs as a whole, and we are glad to talk through where the need is greatest.
